Why Become a Member of the CMA WA

The CMA is the only association in WA that is looks after the interests of those involved in the cabinet making industry. The CMA aims to promote and maintain the standards in the cabinet making industry and helps cabinet makers run their businesses more successfully. The CMA is the only industry association actively representing the interests of cabinet makers to government and industry suppliers.

Dispute Resolution

The CMA provides a ‘no cost’ dispute resolution service for its members and their customers. This provides security for your customers and provides your business with a strong selling point. The service also protects your business from clients seeking to ‘find fault’ as a means of avoiding payment.

Member Promotion

Members can use the CMA logo in all their promotional materials and are provided with CMA stickers and a certificate. This gives your business more credibility and provides your customers with peace of mind. New members are now also provided with a free profile page on the website for the duration of 6 months through which they can promote themselves to the public.

Members are provided with a login with which they can access the members’ area on the CMA website. Here they have access to the IR newsletter, management resources, a members forum and special offers from suppliers.

Social Functions

The CMA organizes a variety of social events for its members such as the annual golf day, sundowners, trade nights and network evenings.

Application

Annual membership is based on the size of your business. Current annual membership cost is $415.00 for businesses with more than four employees and $370.00 for businesses employing three people or less (costs inclusive of GST). Pro-rata membership fees apply if joining during the calendar year. All applications are screened which on average takes 2 weeks and ensures the professionalism and quality of all new members. Upon acceptance to the Association you will be issued with an invoice to cover the fees after which you can enjoy all the benefits and privileges of CMA membership.
