Flat Wacks WA: Cabinet Maker

Flat Packs WA offers cabinetry needs for our regular tradesmen. We not only do flat packed cabinetry, we also assemble cabinets for our clients and provide cabinetry for commercial and mining projects. We also have our own in-house paint shop.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and efficient Cabinet Maker to create custom cabinets. You should be able to read drawings, pick the appropriate materials and complete a given job within a specified schedule. If you have the skills to install cabinetry on site, this would be advantageous.

You should have a detailed-oriented approach and the skill to offer high-quality products. To fulfill the job requirements, you should be physically fit and have decent years of experience in cabinet making. Your willingness to work for long and flexible hours will also be advantageous.

About You:

– Ability to work within a team environment
– Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
– Good communication skills
– Good attention to detail
– Knowledge of Jobman programme would be an advantage but training will be given
– Drivers Licence required
– Forklift Licence would be an advantage

Flat Wacks WA: Machine Operator – CNC

The Role:

Newton Cabinets: Cabinet Maker

We are looking for a tradesman to join our small workshop team.
Preferably some one with experience in a variety of work and adaptable to working well with others as a team.

No need for CNC capabilities.

We are preferred contractors to work in education (Programmed F.M), PTA, other Government departments as well as direct for clients and for a few select builders and architects.

This gives us a wide range of different works throughout the year, including some solid timber work and some carpentry not to mention working with metals aluminium and plastics.

The suitable person would need their car license and be able to do inductions when needed and be able to be issued a police clearance.

Our workshop is in Cockburn Central (Jandakot) so ability to get to work is important, But we do have a tendency to work all over and have work vehicles for the purpose.

We would be looking for some one to start almost straight away if not by the end of April. Conditions and wages negotiable.

Holman Cabinets: Operations Manager

Holman Cabinets Kalgoorlie is a local family owned and operated company which has built a reputation for quality and trust in the Kalgoorlie Boulder community since 1979.

We are a panel saw-run company with regular CNC works delivered in busy periods.

We require an experienced Operations Manager capable of supervising up to 6 tradespeople in our workshop.

Requirements include:

Measuring of new housing jobs, residential and commercial worksites
Ability to work with and communicate well with building supervisors as well as private customers
Ordering all materials for all works
Drawing of plans for private works

Experience in all these aspects is a must.

Work in a very relaxed and co-operative workshop environment with friendly co-workers.

$120k per year plus a car & superannuation.

Generally 45-50 hours per week.

Holman Cabinets: Tradespeople & T/A

2 x Qualified Tradespeople, Panel Saw trained for $40per hour

Also a T/A for $25 per hour.

Two Hands Bespoke: Cabinet Maker – Onsite Installer

Two Hands Bespoke require a qualified and experienced cabinetmaker with on-site installation experience for our busy cabinet making company located north of the river in Dianella.

We are keen to speak with capable tradespeople who can demonstrate a broad knowledge of their craft, cabinet manufacturing right through to onsite installation.

We perform a wide range of cabinetry works, and occasional carpentry and furniture making jobs. Specializing in the more interesting and bespoke work larger companies shy away from, Two Hands Bespoke regularly incorporate solid timber components, while still utilizing modern CNC technology.

The role is not just limited to in house manufacturing of furniture, and kitchens. You will operate machinery and go on-site for installations. The work is predominately higher end residential, and the end result produced is exceptionally rewarding.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualified cabinet maker (Certificate in cabinet making or equivalent)
Must have on-site installation experience
Experience working with solid timber a bonus, but not crucial
Require own hand tools
Must take pride in their workmanship & quality
Preferable Manual Driver’s license
Ability to follow instructions, be keen, self-motivated and driven
Forklift ticket is advantageous but not necessary
White card
